Cinetrip “Sparties” in Thermal Baths

Night life in Budapest is slowly returning to its glorious days of the early 20th century. The number of restaurants, night clubs and pubs is steadily rising.

More and more public events, shows and parties are organized in Budapest for both locals and tourists.
One of the most popular night occasions is called “Sparty”, where spa- and party-feeling are combined. Rudas Spa gives home to the Cinetrip programs.
Cinetrip has many foreign and Hungarian fans among young people who want to have unique cultural experience. The Cinetrip series was launched on 1st January 1998 and has charmed the audience in one of the nicest pieces of authentic Turkish baths in Budapest. In the winter season (from November to April) Rudas opens its gate for the evening and night for both locals and tourists.

During the daytime opening hours men and woman bathe separately, however these night-time “Sparties” are open for both sexes. At these grandiose parties wearing swimming suit is obligatory, slippers are required, and a towel or more towels come in handy.

Cinetrip DJ-s play thumping electronic music. VJ’s provide spectacular laser shows, vibrating pictures on the wall and disco lights. Midnight belly-dancers give eye-opening performances. Cinetrip Water Circus is the title of the audiovisual show this year and it is unique in many ways. During Cinetrip night programs in Rudas Baths, 120 members of staff are on duty to provide “cinetrippers” the party and spa experience. Information on Cinetrip programs is available on the internet.
